Peter Mealy is a guitarist and singer who has

been performing and teaching since the 1970’s.

He has toured extensively with his wife, and

music partner, Laurie Rose Griffith.

He has won numerous awards for his songwriting, and has been a featured instrumentalist in the guitar workshops at the Philadelphia Folk Festival,

and the Washington Folk Festival.

Peter is the author of Fear of Guitar, Fear of Chords, Fear of Soloing, Fear of Ukulele, and Melodic Fingerstyle Guitar, and has contributed articles and columns to Acoustic Musician and Bluegrass Unlimited.

Peter and Laurie live in Fredericksburg, Virginia with their daughters, Adrian and Rosalie.
